HDX500PS - My first prototype 500 size EP heli plastic version

Hi guys,

This is my first prototype 500 size plastic EP heli. The quality of the plastic is really good. Everything is tight, zero slop - very impressive piece of art.

First day, received and build log starts

Here is the head system, it comes with CNC swashplate, nice!

Here comes the tail system

Here is the frame. The frame is made of very strong and rigid 2mm FRP black G10 and all frame parts are made of CNC aluminum. It comes assembled - motor is optional

Tail fin set is also made of FRP G10 material, fin support are made of CNC aluminum. Very nice tail boom support.

Nice FRP fiberglass blades included with the kit

I don't use the plastic canopy but put on one of my favorite FUSUNO airbrush canopy on. Here is now it looks

more to come....

The SE version is just $425 w/ motor and esc.

I bet the kit only plastic version will be a great price.

We are testing on the mixing arms. May increase the length to make the cyclic faster. Also increase the length of the tail blade to 70mm. Working also on the frame to make lower gyro mount... Manual is on the way... Should release very soon next month.
