Scientific's "Miss America"

Back before 1960 the Scientific Model Co. sold a kit for a high-winged plane that started life as a rubber job. It was beautiful - just beautiful.

I have been scouring all over for a set of plans of any size for the "Miss America". If someone can steer me toward a set of plans I'd be greatful.

Go to RCStore.com and search for Miss America. Plan set should be the third hit. Original span was 42" free flight for a COX .020

I had one of these as well, back in the day. As I recall it came with the inflatable wheels, prop, rubber, and a vial of bananna oil. It even had a dummy wooden single cylinder motor. Maybe this was even pre-Scientific.
