Ok it's nothing new. But I love her all the same. Besides it's my lucky ship. I stuffed it into the Peach orchard at the SWC and the only damage was a little 1" crease in the tip.

WooHoo,
First flight on the Altus this morning. 3 launches off the club winch. Tomorrow we will bring out the F3B winch and sizzle some bacon!

Good looking machine! Looks like the nose area is tiny. What was the installation of the servos like?

I could have been the first but I wanted the proper 2-piece version so I waited a few extra years but its worth it.

Tomorrow we will put a little heat in the launch, today was easy and fine for a first flight.

Install. The fuse has a Graupner 3728 for the Elevator (Super Duper version of the DS3421) and the Rudder is a DS285. The wings are DS368BB. Battery is 4.8v 1400 2/3A cells and a R790 RX and a JR Gold switch. Easy install. the tray was already in. Tight fit on the wing servo install but no issues. The fuse has tons of room. These are not a serial production model so you have to accommodate a few little things here and there but for a sweet team model its so very cool!
I did let it touch the ground on one landing so she is devirginized. Wish I had all grass!

Tom - are there provisions for guests to fly at HSS now?? Or does everybody all the time need a City permit??

What time you going tomorrow? I may come out, at least to watch.
