Electric Gliders

I have had some realy rewarding days recently at the beatifull Torrey Pines slope when there was 0 wind looking over the sheet glass Pacific Ocean in 80' temps and diving my Ceres E with way over 100MPH 350 feet to the beach. Two days later I was flying my HN Extreme and Ceres F3b in 40MPH winds at the same location. Both are equally exciting. I would never even consider an electric on a big wind day though! No need! The truth is though, when I was flying the electric and the day was pristine (mid January) I was in shorts and flip flops! On those windy days in January I am all bundled up in 40' temps. Which is better? And yes it is a very high pitch screeming noise that brings the others down!

Well spoken Phil You forgot to mention those in-between days where the Espada R is able to do four point rolls in 3mph westward wind ....

There have been quite a few new models flooding the market in the last couple of years. If we keep posting images of our planes in time we will have a nice historical record of F3X aircraft developing.

Oh - Hey! - was wondering what happened to this thread
My most recent "Plastic Fantastic" - an old Frits D.D "Fletcher"
Thought it needed cheering up - so I added the Mondrian scheme
