Internet articles rarely contain anything of substance, but sometimes you pick up funny lapses in the author's mental programming.

So besides obviously burning through 3 husbands, here's an author who, like most internet writers, is programmed by the media to think she has to push people into aerospace careers, and that there aren't enough aerospace engineers.

Then she lapses into independant thought and admits aerospace isn't a career. Everybody does it. Virtually no-one is paying for it except Al Queda and a few Asian countries. US is too busy with social security to worry about space doodads.

Personally think most problems on Earth are because of the lack of space exploration. Land shortages, housing shortages, natural resource shortages, over population are the root of almost everything and can only be addressed by leaving Earth. By terrorism, starvation, warfare, or natural disaster, humans won't grow much more until they leave Earth. You won't read that anywhere else.

No aerospace engineering jobs? Probably true. A lousy choice of careers for young people.

Our Governor said we meed more engineers to be competitive in the world. A liberals arts guy in politics as usual. Cart before the horse. It you have good stable jobs you will have engineers and vice versa. Lawyers rule in the USA.

Another thread is/was running on nuke reactors. Same deal there , no jobs and no future. France seems to have the market sewed up on nukes.
