Depends on the cell count but the Markus and Motrolfly work perfectly as do the Scorpion.
25A works just fine for 3s.

I have a CC Thunderbird 36 (which goes from $40 - $45) in my Wild wing on 3s, but I have not found an ESC other than the CC Phoenix that will run it well on 4s with a prop larger than 4.75 x 4.75. With the Phoenix 45, I run it with 4s 2500mAh and a 5.5 x 4.5 prop.

Welp i happens in ever wings life... I think my stalled to cart wheel landing today may have caused enough damage to make it not worth repairing..

I had to dig a servo out and it turns out it was a bad driver board (overheating bad) and then then t plate for the motor mount broke today as well

with the amount of surgey to fix it im not too sure i want to..

I think it is time to dige the rest of the gear out and build a new wing..

Heck this wing has survied 3 in air fires.. and 2 trips to AEF and a trip to reno... so i know it is lucky...

Kind of a shame to toss it out as the rest of the air frame is solid

That is one Sexy Motor Mount!! However, I am a bit confused, which isn't unusual Is this designed for one of your outrunners? Looks like an Inrunner mount to me, but again, I can be a bit thick at times. Would love to see one with a motor on it.

Either way, its a badazzz lookin mount.

Hey Adam. What microdan motor should I be looking at? The 2800kv speed motor or the 2535kv motor? Or should I get one of each? I plan on running 6x4 or 6x5.5 props on 4s. Will the 2800kv motor burn out if I run it on 4s with these props? Gonna be putting them in the TL40 and TL50 Slice. I also have a couple Mega 16/15/3 and an Arc 28mm 2.5 turn motor. Any suggestions will always be appreciated.

I think so, is this using a tube in that hole? That is what was confusing me. Looked like a 28MM hole for an inrunner at first. Thanks for the pic!!

Use the custom(2535kv)wind for 4s and 6x4 or 6x5.5

The 2800kv is good on 4s and 5x5 or I. Its good for 3s and a 6x4sport. or 6x5.5.

Any motor that uses an 8mm tube mount will fit this, IE: Micrrodan Little screamers, CCDR, etc.

The bore on the hole is 8mm, so to answer your question yes there is a tube in the hole. The same tube that holds the stator and bearings.

Demon Power

Changed my Demon drivetrain to ARC 1.5t on 5s A123 cells and 6x4 sport prop. I'm very impressed with static test numbers. 65A and 800W Battery voltage started at 17v and sagged to 12v under full load. I think this setup may be a winner, hopefull find out tomorrow.

Thanks for the info guys!! I think my lightning will get one along with a micro dan motor. Adams did so well, seems like the perfect setup.

Well, I said it before, but this time it really is done and ready to fly. The dual motor Demon I bought from Morphs ages ago. Finally got the amps and props and escs all setup so that I shouldn't kill anything during the flight. 40amps at just shy of 500 watts per motor!!
