Make sure your bullets match the extensions or hard wire the long esc wires. mines down for a bad wire connection to the motors

Hi, I'm working on my GWS 15. I'm painting it in a real life aggressor trainer scheme which should be easier to see than all grey. I have a couple of Turnigy 2445-3790 inrunners which are wider but still fit the ducts. My kit came with blue gws inrunners, both factory tested at 485 g thrust on 3S. Would there be any advantage to swapping them out for the Turnigys? I want to stay 3S since I don't own any 4S. Thanks

im about to hard wire those esc -motor wires , and power system up grade mine

heres the maiden video to keep you encouraged till flying weather gets to northern N Y

I cant remember if that flight was a 3 cell battery or a 4 s battery , but from my experience I will say that if your motors and escs can handle 4s you wont be dissapointed getting some 4 s batteries. here's a link to the cheapest ones I've found.

these are 1300 ma 4s 70 c but when i bought some i got 1000 ma 4s 70c for $10. which im going to use 2 in parallel

I'm in Albany CA, on SF Bay, so I hope to maiden fairly soon I'm really impressed by the action of the tailerons. I went conventional. I wanted both ailerons and tailerons, but my radio couldn't handle it and still have a steerable nose wheel!

I've had several F-15s, the first was full house with ailerons and elevons. Later F-15 were elevon only with no loss of agility. The throws of the elevons are wild but necessary.

Two things to remember for the maiden. 1) the model needs a long takeoff run and 2) she doesn't like cross winds. As heavy as the nose feels, when you start getting lift, the nose wheel will lose traction and any cross wind against those two v-stabs will rotate the model around the mains.

that's a fact , in my video above during the landing you can see me correcting for a slight cross wind

Maidened yesterday! Here's video of the first flight.


Nice easy flyer. The landing glide is insane. I just went deadstick to get it down. I think the stock cg is a bit forward. Maybe 170 would be better. The twin inrunners really suck down the battery.
