Telescoping Poles

There was a booth at the show where they were selling lightweight telescoping poles for retreiving planes. I meant to get one before I left but forgot. Does anybody know who they were or if the have a web site?

Yes,
Go to westmountianradio.com I believe they are the people who had the poles. I think they go to 28 feet. I almost got one also. Next year for sure.

I went to their web site and could not find the poles. I'll shoot them an e-mail and see if they are the people that were at the show.

Try the site for "Into the Wind", they are a Colorado based kite shop but also sell carbon tubes and a telescoping pole.

Thanks, that looks like the ticket. I was hoping they were longer than 22ft. I couldn't remember how long the ones at the show were.

The field we fly at has many "kite eating trees" around it. I bought a 25' aluminium pole that telescopes to about 2 feet for around 40 dollars That gives me 31 feet of lift counting my 6' height

You might want to check with the free flight guys. I know they use some crazy long carbon poles.
