the fan sounds good, nice jet sound. You say 8s 4600's but on the video it sounds like you say 10s, which was it? Also doesn't look like you have an inlet ring.

The 10S comment was concerning another plane that I fly. There is an inlet ring on the fan. It is a black plastic one that comes with the old HOB F-86 kit for use on the Kress RK-20 fan. That fan is 4" dia also.

Here are numbers from the test today. We used new broken in batteries.
Hacker Electric Turbine A40-10L:
8S Thunder Power Pro Power 30C
110 AMPs at 3540 WATTs giving 27,000 RPM
Motor temp was 140 degrees
************************************************** *
6S Thunder Power 5000ma Extreme Ver 2, X-70 SB Pro ESC. 68 AMPs at 1556 WATTs giving 22,000 RPM. Motor temp was 103 Degrees.
So for almost doubling the AMP draw you only get 5000 more RPM.
I'm going with two of these in my Citation model. On 6S it will save some weight over 8S and performance should be very good 260 Watts/lb.

The inlet ring is for a Kress RK-20 fan unit. They came with the Royal Cessna Citation kit, also kress models sold them. I think EJF has a vacum form plastic version. E-mail them.
