The Glue adds more wieght than the galss by far so a lighter less over laping build will help keep the over all wieght down No overlap and a light coat of super90 to tack the glass down and a light coat over the top to fuse the glass to the glue and foam and it will be much lighter than many layers overlaping and heavy use of the super 90 I know it is not a real awnser but there are to many variables to give a best awnser..

I have her all glassed up, waiting for payday to pick up some covering. I wen't heavier on the glass then I ussually do. I weighed the model before servos and glass, it came out to 10.25oz. The servos weigh 1.6oz each the linkage is prolly 1/2 oz or so and the coro lid is barely worth mentioning. So lets say a theoretical value of 4 1/2 oz was added to the frame consisting of servos, linkage, coro, hot glue,ect. Then I added glass. I used 1 1/2 rolls of henery's and about 3/4 of a 3M90 can. Wow this bird ate up alot of material fast! Basically the trailing edge is a single layer, that criss, cross in the center and then I doubled up from the electronics bay forward. Prolly more glass then required but with this large wingspan and close to 100mph I was worried about flex. So the weight after glass came out to 20.10 oz. so between 56oz of glass/glue was added, not bad considering the area of this wing. My gear will consist of: Mega 16253 w/ 21 gearbox Pheonix 80 (its what I got and it handles 6s) 6s1p of 3600mah Poly RC cells(12c) Electron 6 Hitec 5475 digital/standard. x2 so lets say the gear weighs a theoritical 25oz plus or minus a few, then we have the covering of course, wingtips, elevons, so lets say 30oz max. That'll put me at an auw of 5053oz. Very acceptable IMHO. There a 50" wings that weigh this much. Brauntus calcs With an 8x4 I am looking at a theoretical 70mph pitchspeed 65 oz of thrust for 22amps 450 watts. Not bad! With an 8x6 the calc says 100mph, 98oz of thrust 31 amps and 650 watts, now were talking! A 7x5 gets me 86mph pitchspeed 56oz of thrust at 17 amps and 350 watts, for those lazy longflight days. I will test out many props to see what suits my needs! I'll get some pics when shes done.
