Nice, very elegant looking even with a almost constant cord wing.

Wow!

That's sweet!

Wish I had the skill to build my own and not buy those expensive kits!

Oh So Tasty !!

That is a wonderful little bipe, I can feel my fingers itchin already to build myself one. Couple of questions tho, for the firewall/engine mount did you make a small peice with notches for the vertical and horizontal fuse sections or was it a flat plate with the ends of the fuse section glued on to make them come out around the motor ?. Also do you think making a small hinge out of some very narrow plastic tube (like the ink tube in a ballpoint pen) with a pin pushed through it to make a swivel joint and the CF pushed into the tupe would be strong enough as a method of joining the upper and lower ailerons ?

Motormount is made like this.

(it's not fully scale) circel is drawed at 28mm on this picture
It's only a sketsch to give you an impression)

Flat 1.5mm plywood.

It's a little hard to get it in.
Make a little more space at the bottemslot to turn it in.

Or make something like this.

The hinges are made of normal desk tape with 2 layers at some points.
Rudder controls are made of a piece of glasfiberplate.
Some people put a little rod in the rudder and connect it with heatshrinking tube and connect is to the pushrod.
i did it with 0.5mm steelwire. a littel glu and heatshrinking tube to lock it in place. Pushrods are made of 2mm massive carbonrod.

Only thing to get the plane stronger is placing a carbon rod diagonal between bottomwing to mid top wing or and a 4mm hollowrod in the bottem wing.

But without it will hold if you don't crash

I seeeeee

Ah, I see now what you did with motor mount, and good advice on the Carbon Struts, I happen to have a few odd pieces lying around so I will be putting some of them to good use.

Thanks again for sharing the plans, this will be my first bipe and it looks like an ideal one to start with.

This is the flight weight (275grams) and CG is on the plan
(top wing CG dot on the vertical fuselage part)

If you want you can shift it a bit foward of backwards.
With a bit wind i shift the battery a bit foward to get a bit more speed without motor.
