It's 1/16 scale. The construction article was in the September 2006 issue of Model Aviation.

Wing span 82.5inches
Flying weight with 4 OS .10FP's was 6lbs.

The wing area isn't stated on the plans or in the article anywhere. I'm guessing somewhere in the neighborhood of 600 in^2.

The construction looks pretty light to start with. The wing is not full sheeted. There are a few obvious weight saving spots. There is a lot of plywood thrown at the engine mounts and especially wing mount areas that doesn't need to be there.

An OS10 weighs about 4 ounces not counting the mounts or fuel tanks. A speed400 with gearbox weighs about 3 ounces. The conversion including batteries shouldn't overall really add much weight to it. I'm guessing probably a final flight weight around 7lbs because I'm adding retracts.

I've got a build thread going for this in the Electric Scale section.
