Hovercraft + Helicopter = Geoff's Flying Saucer

What's next for rotory aircraft? This Brit seems to know:


Looks kinda like a hard hat to me!

It's kind of neat but I'm not sure what major advantages it has to a coaxial design. No rotor strikes is certainly a nice one although I suppose it's still possible.

Helis still look cooler, and i bet it cant fly inverted.

Wow, I think that is a very cool design!!! it is GREAT to see new innovations in helicopters.

remember the first helicopter was flown only about 60 years ago so it is still a very new idea in the grand scheme of things! imagine how helis will look 60 years from NOW!
