Typhoon 2W-20, HET 6904 EDF-unit setup question
Included with the fan unit is an aluminum "centering-cooling" ring. The instructions say to install the ring on the aft portion of the motor. This fills in the small gap between the motor and fan unit shroud which obviously helps center and cool the motor.
My problem is that inner diameter of the ring and the outer diameter of the motor are just a smidge off. I've tried a few different solutions with no success, any ideas?
