can the astro charger charge lead acid batts?

Hi all,
I have an astro charger, not the lith one, the one I use to charge my NIMH batts, can this charger charge 3 SLA sealed lead acid batteries 12 volts 10 amps wired in series? If so what amperage can I charge it? Its for an electric scooter.
Thanks

You need a constant voltage charger for SLA. The 112 is a constant current charger.

So, no. The 112D is strictly a Ni charger.

For the reason stated in post #3. The voltage will keep rising until the charger limit is reached or the SLAs are destroyed. The later will no doubt happen before the former.
