Stripes are only visible with a camera LOL.
Motor was hotter than I would like after last flight so I made a baffle.
The motor is pretty much blanked by the spinner so I should have doen that already.
I also slowed down the accelleration of the motor in th eESC because it seemed to lose synch when I advanced the throttle quickly. Plan to fly it again tomorrow.
It really floats.

Rich,

I would think that HS-5645's would be the minium for ailerons/elevators and a HS-5985 or HS-5955 would work great on a the rudder.

They are 5645's all around on 6V. Pretty powerful.
Flew it twice today. A 10 min flight and put 3000 back out of 4350.
Baffle is really great. Motor was a little above ambient.
ESC adjustment worked great too. No losing synch anymore.
Seald the aileron hinge gaps too. WOT passes prodiced no flutter.
Landings are nice and easy. Loving the plane.

Other flight. I can only stand about 2 per day.
Good landing though.

OK Ben here are some baffeling pics. Good news is that the mount pieces are interchangeable between the HL AXI mount and the Hacker mount. No holes to drill or anything. In fact I did not remove the old 'legs' at all. Why bother?
I did have to cut the bafle back about 3/8" or so to clear the mount. But it now blows right on the side of the motor. Yes the motor has a fan.

The Hacker motor works great. Same input power as AXI but seems a little more powerful in the air. Mr Peanut even said I should prop DOWN! That may be a first.
The Hacker is also quieter than the AXI.

Oh sorry. When I said it was the same I meant ot say I chose the Hacker A60 18M because it has almost the same kV as the AXI 5330/24. So the ~3600W is on the same prop I have been flying -APCE 22X10. I have a 20X10 to prop down to.
I've also thought about just dropping back to 10S or propping up to a 24X12W I have and dropping to 8S to lose some weight (1lb). So far it looks like 10S is really a good spot for this plane. That is what Ben recommended in the first place and I should have listened to him.[Listen to the Aggie Engineer]
