Looking nice so far, dflorin! Romania, huh? That's great! And another country I can add to the list of countries my park jets have built in. I think the list is over 50 now!

Hobby Lobby ships worldwide, so I wouldn't think shipping to you would be a problem. Probably won't be cheap, though. Just contact them and ask.

HiModel...

Hi there

You can get "LSPJ motors" also from HiModel:

http://www.himodel.com/electric/HiMo...e_A2212_6.html

The stats are same as on Hobby Lobby's LSPJ motor.

I ordered two a couple of weeks ago, and the delivery took about two weeks to Finland.

I'm going to build this park jet as soon as I have time.. maybe in next month The design is just awesome

No, it's not the same...not even close. While I do love the Brand X 2212-06 motors, they are twice the size and weight of a LSPJ as well as lower Kv than either a LS Park Jet or Super Park Jet.

Not by the time you add shipping from China. You can also get these from BPhobbies and LightFlightRC. My LHS even carries them.

Welcome Florian

Hi Florian,

welcome to the site.
I wish I could build as quick as you!!! It took me more than a week to cut the parts not a few minutes!

Looking good!

Shadegrow, this is the exact motor I am using.
Power wise and KV it is OK, I think my measured trust at 1050 grams (37 Oz) is quite high, specially considering the small prop diameter of 5". At 6"diameter low pitch the trust will be even higher for the same current. (18 A)
But these are more heavy than a LSPJ.
Rvincent why do you think It can't handle 4 cells? As long as you prop down to < 20 A should be OK.

Actually about cells, 6 cells and an 1100 KV motor would be nice. Than you can run these at 10A only, same power but much lower weight cables.
I made a mistake before, cable weight is only 60 grams (2.1 OZ), still a lot.
Could be expensive on ESC's 6 cells.

I remeasured the motor performance again, still some unbalance but not so bad any more, < 1 A difference. Changing props had no impact, props are OK.
I'll fly it this way..

Progress so far, all foam parts glued, now fully in the shaping process.
I reminds me of a saying in sculpturing: The object has always been there you just have to throw away the excess rock ( foam.) A nice thought that this sukhoi has always been inside these 2 sheets of depron, just a matter of rearranging the sheet and removing the excess.
Still a lot of work so Iam going upstairs to work
good luck everyone..

Didier, sorry you missed last saturday, lovely weather... Me too..
Keeps us anxious.

I agree...Your motor prices have allowed me and many others to experiment and build bigger planes than would have been possible on our budgets.

Smash's help to me in this hobby has been great. Dont think I dont appreciate it.
