Do you have a detailled view of your motor mount. I've just bought the Eflight Six 2700kv motor but do not have a motor mount yet.

Thx

sounds good, thanks.I opted to coat it with the thinnest fiberglass I could find using the minwax polycrylic as a resin. So far Ive done the wings & the finish is pretty smooth,it has cover up some minor scuff with no issues.

This is the best pic I have access to at the moment. I'll get you better ones after I get home. I think this is the motor mount I've got: http://www.amazon.com/Himax-ACC3928-.../dp/B000PU70OY

Sorry, guys memory is not what it used to be.

I had a busy night and forgot to get you more pics....just yell if you need something better than what I posted above.

evalith8: My apologies, I was cleaning up PMs this morning and realized I forgot about your request for info/pics. Between my website and this thread, it has pretty much everything. Just let me know if I can be of more help and I will try.

no worries, after about 40 hours of grinding away Ive reached the painting/panel lines, weathering phase(finally!!!!!)The build went fantastic, just layed the gray base color down last night & started the camo scheme.Id still like to see your site so I can get some tips on weathering & panel line placement.I used the super thin trim type tape for the paneling & it looks great.Sure beats a ruler & a fine tip roller pin. This has been a time consuming build for sure but it looks awesome! The painitng & detaling is definately my favorite part.3 weeks ago I never thought Id be this far along.

Evalith8,

Shoot me a pm when you get ready to maiden. I'd really like to have a front row seat. Sweet build.

Ha, it's never the same after you fly it the first time!

On another note...looking for a better source for ChartPak tape... I can't find it locally and if I order two rolls, shipping is just about the same price as the purchase!

Pretty much done with painting...very satisfied! Have the engines left to do...

I got mine at a local art supply store. I've also seen it in the drafting isle at Hobby Lobby. I know what you mean about shipping costing as much as the product.
