So following along on that motor question, in a dual motor setup, just to verify again, the Grayson Hobby Microjet v3's should be good? Tough to beat 25oz of thrust on a 6x4 from a 34g motor! If not is there a better power plant combo I should be looking at? All my electronics should be arriving this week, but I haven't ordered the motors yet... Thanks guys!

I had the v2's on a full size flanker. They did great. Just be prepared to get your battery pretty far forward to compensate for the weight on the tail.

T3chDad...the V2's you had, were they the Super Mega Jet V2's?

No, they were the 2212-06. I've had three flankers.

1) 28" Initially powered by a Grayson Super Mega. Once that died, it was powered by the EFite "Six" 2700kv
2) Full-size powered by two Grayson 2212-06 v2 motors with thrust vectoring. Originally built by cmala.
3) 26" powered by the "Six".

I think I may go with the Suppo - A2212-6 Gold. Similar to the Grayson SuperSonic v2, but slightly lighter and more thrust on a 6x4. Vs the Microjet V3, the Suppo would provide max 1674g of thrust vs the 1338g of the MJV3. Only disadvantage is the Suppo's add a full 34g extra weight to the rear which is basically what a whole MJV3 weighs. The additional thrust is is more than enough to make up for this but I would also want to be sure I had enough room to move the battery forward for CG without adding ballast as you mentioned. Also, two Suppo's are $30 vs. $48 for two Grayson MicroJet V3s.
Ps, that info is based on tests from flybrushless and Dr Kiwi

I for my model will use TURNIGY D2826/10 1400KV, 7x4 propeller. I get about 1500g of thrust, so I have 300g more thrust than model weight.

Uggh, why are there like infinite choices for motor and prop setups?! Vlada, that looks like a real interesting combo, however, I already have my 30a esc's and don't want to move up to the 40a in the current interest of added cost and weight but may try on a future build. I did recently order a Tunigy D2826/6 motor with 40a esc and 6x4 prop for my Shumate F15. Haven't flown it yet but interested to see how it compares as all my other motors have been Grayson Microjet V3's...

Hello, boys after the success of the F22, I built SU - 37 schedule Steve Shumate. The building itself was quick, the longest lasted preparation electronics. Many suitable engines, and their installation. Battery is thrust into the toe and regulators are away from her almost 70 cm. The power cord is 16 cm in the parallel capacitors. The solution I have used in F22. The receiver is powered from both controllers - work well! .The front part of the model is to canaries laminated thin cloth around the engine is too thin fabric. Weight of the model has increased, but the model is stronger. Center of gravity the plan got moved back about 3 cm .Our weather has been bad, but together with my wife, I made a short video.

weight 896 gram / RC Hobbies 2200KV Brushless Motor (2212-6) + ESC 30 / propellers 6x4

SU37 by Steve Shumate (3 min 31 sec)

So when I am routing wires from one nacelle across the bottom to the other side, can I run the servo wires next to the power wires and signal leads from the esc's? Too much interference or will it be ok? It sure looks neater going through one hole...
