I do the same to clear coat it. But you can opt not to, to save weight. On the Su 27 I opted not to add the clear coat but decided to add it later on.

I recently saw the Blitz R/C Banana Hobby V 2 EDF model of the one without the canards ( about $300). But I like yours better . Here's some pics for other paint schemes

Whoa, talk about adding icing to an already great-looking cake. Those missles look GREAT wobisch, and really add to the scale factor!

alpea - That's one of the better looking Su-27 models I've seen! Especially for a kit. Seems well done.
