I know what you mean, as soon as I get one finished, Steve makes another that tops the last one. I have just finished mine, only with one motor and scaled up to 125%. Maidened it Sunday. Flies great and looks so real in the air.

Gentleman as i've mentioned in the earlier thread i'm a newbie as far as electric goes, worst of all this is my very 1st jet, 1st complete building, 1st everything as far as electric and jet goes.

I've cut-out a wing span of 36" x 46" length if I'm not too far off i might end up with an AUW of approx 30-35 oz.

The question I have is what will be the best size motor, esc and prop.
Your advice is greatly appreciated.

TQ Once again in advance.

Flight photos!

Finally got a chance to meet my friend Larry at the field and get some photos of the Su-37 in action. Doesn't he take awesome pictures? He shot over 400 photos on his digital SLR over just 2 flights ( ) and it was TOUGH whittling them down to just these best shots... There were so many great shots to choose from.

Now that I've gotten even more stick time on the Su-37 I have to say this is the BEST flying park jet I've ever flown! It actually handles better at 29 oz than it did at 24 oz--it flies noticeably smoother and has more inertia to carry it through the thrust-vectoring tumbling manuevers. In fact, I can't say enough good things about how it handles. It's smooth as silk in the air, screaming fast when you want it to be, does beautiful slow high alpha under complete control, does awesome flips and Cobras, instantly responds to control inputs at any airspeed/attitude, and easily does graceful aerobatics. And it's really easy to hand catch for landing. It's my #1 favorite park jet!

Fantastic shot's Steve!!! I love that tail slide pic

Thanks for all the well wishes, although I didn't see them at the time, I sure do appreciate them always.

I spent the night near J's new dig's, in Murfreesboro TN. Got raped on my Motel room as there was 5 schools in for some turnement and no room's available.

Gas prices rose from $2.97 in Florida to over $3.50 by the time I hit Milwaukee. Seems that states are not charging by gas tax anymore, but the gas companys are telling what gas will be sold for in each state. Last year truckers got hit, this year the rest of us get the big whack in the wallet.

It will be GREAT to have you in Las Vegas Steve, I'd still drive there even if Gas hits $4.00 a gallon LOL and this year I hope to have something to fly

I stopped in Atlanta, and I bought a half case of 6mm and 9mm Depron from RCFoam. Sean is a great guy, and there selling all kinds of stuff now, different foams and carbon rods. I got a few samples of 1mm Depron that comes on huge rolls. The 1mm Depron was something we were looking for back when Yasu made his first DC-9 that flew on GWS 55mm fans. He used 1mm for skinning the DC-9 frame.

Sweet shots Steve, I especially like that flip collage it really looks like the real thing on the 2:nd and 3:rd picture, and that paint scheme looks really nice on that bird. Looking forward to the video.

More great pics....sheesh! Wish I had everything ready myself. That's a great looking ship.
Hey Tom,
Guess you could have stayed with me but we don't even have a bed yet. Sold ours at the garage sale. Ordered one yesterday and hope it will be here by Friday. Glad you had a safe trip, now get to whittling dome Depron!
