Nick, I watch C.S.I on TV .Not necessarily Hansens, but I think there might be a bit more action then the " Tedy Bear's Picnic" in some of those parks after the sun goes down.

Cheers,
James

Saturday 21st june

A nice coolish day a little bit windy, Good for the sailors, It was fast electric day today, we had a supervee and a hammer. An Atlantic tug, Cols tug and tanker, John with a steam "electric" launch and a fishing boat, Bruce's Cabin Cruiser. Photos pretty much tell the tale.
Regards Nick

Looks like you guys have a great setup. Is the tanker based on an American Scout hull? I ask because the mold that Dwight Hartman had for the Scout went to Loyalhanna Dockyard and should be available again. This tanker design would be a very nice buildout of that hull.

Nice photos of really nice models. keep up the good work.

Sunday 29th June

Hi,
Here are my pics for the day , absolutely fantastic day, I didn't have a boat unfortunately , 30+ members showed up today I think its the biggest non open day turnout we have ever had. Secretarial jobs kept me busy during the morning and I've just finished as I'm typing this, Arrgh.

As you can tell from the pics it wasn't a good day for the sail boats, they were all on their stands . I missed a few boats as well, Murray and Dianne with their Atlantic and Hammer, Bill with his new purchase, the Riviera from a previous post, Brian brought down his Springer hull and a top for it I haven't seen yet in the Springer thread, you'll have to wait for it. Plus a couple of others.
Regards
Nick

Hi Prince Willem,
Ive been informed that it definitely isn't the American Scout, It is a fibreglass hull, When the Col figures out how to post or if I remember the details when I'm actually at the computer we will put up the info on what she is.

On another note Cols Amsterdam tug is running a 15 amp speed control with a 10 amp auto blade fuse in circuit, a 60 mm 4 blade prop, a 700 Darke Horse motor and 3:1 planetary gearbox, that's the set-up he's using to tow the rescue tinny with, he.s definitely the king when it comes to bollard pull on our lake.

Hi Nick.
Another great day of fun on the water.
That tow rig is a nice piece of work. Looks like a lot of fun.
Don't forget, in a couple of weeks (Sat 12/7/08) it's the Bruce Irwin memorial race day. Hope some of you guys can make the trip, especially those who knew Bruce. It's also a buy, swap, sell day too.
All the best.
Paul.

Hi Paul,
I'm sure a few will be travelling up, unfortunately I have other commitments, I will be up in Townsville on a game boat for the weekend. Hopefully getting on to some big Black Marlin and fishing on the reef.

Nick

That's not a commitment. That's compulsory enjoyment
Is that how you test out your company's new boats...marlin fishing on the Reef?
Have a good one.

I wish, If I had to test every boat up the reef I'd be up there every week.
