Did anyone fly yesterday? Reported gusts at the lake were almost 50mph. I guess everyone is getting ready for the big int'l week.

Mike and Bruce stayed longer than Steve and I did Bluzharp. The wind was mild to good with a clean back side all day. We had a 4 plane furball going until I grabbed my camera. Bruce flew his D 100 which is getting a face lift. Looks like somebody is finally going to make this thing look good again. Mike flew his Skua 48" and his composite bagged Skua 60" pictured.
NYX, D 100, Opus T, D 60, Skua's, Jw's Wings and a few other planes flown. Tim |

So jealous...It has been snowing every other day here in SLC. Wish I could have made it down to play.

Me too Spencer. I wonder if the wind data was wrong or if the big wind didn't make it to Weldon from the dam (inversion?). Did anyone see whitecaps? Even the notoriously low Iwindsurf.com had it near 40.

It was whitecaping but nothing outrageous. I stayed to fish on monday where are higher winds but more from the south. Sorry you missed out on a good practice day Spencer. I almost feel bad showing the great time we all head.
