RC Dragonfly ornithopter at Radioshack?

Made by Flytech (ironically)... has anyone tried this out yet? Looks like it steers with a fan-tail... clever.

I picked one up, but it has been too windy to fly, and I have no indoor spot right now, I'll post a report once I have a chance to fly it.

I saw one fly in the gym last Friday and it looks like a lot of fun! The Laconia Radio Shack had 3 yesterday and on sale! Two for $10 or 20 off. Check out the thread above also.

Shut up and FLY!!!!!

I grabbed one last Saturday.
It just might be more fun than an Aero Ace... seriously!
OK I know it's apples and oranges but...
I've been flying it in my new home for the past two nights in between while we (my girl and I) were scraping wallpaper.
The Dragonfly is practically impervious to wall-beatings
I'm still getting the hang of flying it as to its my first ornithopter-type.
I am waiting for a calm day to really let it loose but it's still a blast to fly.

Just got mine back btw nice gust of wind must off brought it down. I don't know about must have but it's pretty cool the other thread in the ornithopter section is blowing up, I did the tail mod today and was finally able to achieve indoor flight in my small office, so I took it out side and got it flying well when a HUGE gust of wind took it straight up and put it on the roof. All in all a good day for me as 2 of my toys were freed from their rooftop prisons, very happy the mini xpv came down i'd rather have that back than the dragonfly anyday even if it cost me $20less.

I seen thenm at my LRS. They look like a fun toy for the living room, but for 5 bucks I could buy two AA's!

I might get one if the price comes down 10 or 20 bucks.

just grabbed one today and added tail mod. How do you guys get these to climb? Mine won't get more than like 6-7ft off the ground......

Mine is hit or miss on altitude outside and control is the same way, I feel like I can get it to turn right when I want it to and it won't ever turn left. I also did the tail mod, it helped but it's very different than an AA, I might be with you on the for $5 more you could have 2 AAs instead thing.
