Startup on Beat controller

I'm using a Beat 50-8-30 controller in a logo 10 with a Hacker motor on 12 cells. I have a difficult time getting it to start. I have to turn the trottle on and off 4 or 5 times before it gets going. Makes me wonder what I'ts going to do when I hit trottle hold. I went on their web site looking for an answer. Nothing!! I thought perhaps it might have something to do with timming. But as I understant it, it is self adjusting. Anyone have any clues?

The ESC is selfadjusting but need a proper throttle range to start the arming sequence, make sure you have full throw on the throttle channel and put the throttle trim slider to zero aswell.

Just a thought

I'll check my throttle range this afternoon. I've run into this problem on some of the first generation esc's, but not the later ones, until now. I've also heard some motors and esc combos will do this. though personally I've not run into this.

Be sure you are not bumping the trim to. The ESC reads the throttle % at start up, if you movethe trim after initializing you are changing the %.
