Is dihedral on a delta wing bad?
Hi all,
Im just glued a wing to a eurofighter, the instructions state the bottom surface should be level, but ive managed to put about 2 degrees dihedral onto the wing. How bad news is this? Not that i can do anything about it now anyway. ( Its a PJP eurofighter 60" lenght , 40" wingspan) |

I'm inclined to agree with V1 here, especially as the instructions are, in effect, telling you to put anhedral into the wing. I made a delta slope soarer which accidentally had a bit of dihedral, in order to prevent dutch roll, I chopped the tips and stuck them back on with anhedral to make a gull wing delta.
Which was a pile of crap ![]() Suck it and see though, but if you can see a way to undo it, then it will probably be worth the effort. Cheers |
