There is also video showing the birth of this new F3F racing ship called SCARY. You will see Jiriīs daughter helping with moulds flying Scary F3F on slope and receiving diploma for her flying skills there.

Design, preparation and production of the first two pieces took Jiri two months only

Enjoy,

So I finally flew my spare escape for the first time today. I even manned up and threw it myself. With a 10kt or so wind I put in lots of up trim and just tossed it lazily and it was a non-event. I had forgotten how much I liked my old escape!

I had the Escape at the field for our annual Watts over Wetzel electric fly-in. There was a pretty good turn out with around 50 pilots, and the weather was pretty nice when compared to how its been lately.

The Escape drew a lot of interest, and many people were dissappointed to learn that it was no longer being produced. I think an Escape II should be put into the works! Perhaps something with a slightly larger wing! One thing that was mildly frustrating was people kept coming up and asking "Hey, is that the new Great Planes Rifle?".

Flying the Escape on 3s-3000mah batteries is a complete breeze. The launches are not more difficult (or so i've been told) and it easily picks up 10mph of speed over my old tired 2200mah batteries! Its like shifting into another gear! With an APC 4.75x5.5 I would speculate I was touching just under 180mph downwind, or about 170mph air-speed! It absolutely rips! And everything comes down nice and cool.

It made me appreciate just how great of a model the Escape is, and how sad I will be when its gone.

Me to going to miss my Escape when its gone, I dont know about prices where you live, but here the price of one Escape is 2850, and you get a Demon or a Excite F5D for about 3500, so even if its not going to be produce anymore, its better to move on with one of the F5D ships above, at least for me where the price is almost the same.

While I was at SEFF the Escape flew great and attracted alot of attention. There was some wind and during the extreme speed time you had to be 100 mph or greater. We were doing the passes into the wind so they are slower than they could have been.

Still it was fun to show how fast it goes. I still shake after flying it

Ahhh that sucks, out of production... I was just gonna ask where can I get an escape, as SUSA look to be out of em. Just brought 4 fresh 40/50C Turnigy 3S 3000's too! Gutted. How does the flash compare to the escape performance wise?, looks pretty old school.

These are a bit bigger, but I have narrowed it down to these two for pylon style flying. They both can take a 4S 3300mah and a 36mm inrunner.

Both are in stock.

A tough Hotliner that can take high speeds and hold a bigger battery.......

Big plyon!

I can't afford an F5D. I'm going to have to rob a bank to get one of these.

My F5D's, Escape, and S400 pylon racers were all cheaper to build than my BulleT warmliner or any full blown hotliner would be, a lot cheaper....
