How Do I Hack 4 In 1 Ch.3 Blade Cp

I have got a blade cp that i purchased a brushed motor and a gws esc for it...the esc requires it to be connected to channel 3 which is throttle.. but my 4 in 1 has no pins on channel 3. i know it consists of 2 parts the reciever side and esc/giro/mixer side but how do i hack in to get the message to the esc from the 4 in 1????????????????

You solder just the esc's signal wire on the ch3 of the 4-in-1 on the rx pcb side. Then you make a y-harness so that the battery powers both the 4-in-1 and the esc. If hiccups occur, solder all 3 servo leads instead.

Here. In this diagram, 4-in-1 is the 3-in-1 pcb of the 4-in-1.

most only do this mod when they are upgrading to brushless. Is it a bigger brushed motor?

i just push the pins by heating them up until the prutude half way the other side. This enables me to connect the brushless to the other side while still connected to the 4 in 1.

And do the pins inside still connect well with the 3-in-1 pcb for the mixing signals off the main?

Yup that is the best way to use a mod brushed motor. The 4-in-1 is pretty much optimized for the stock brushed motor. By that I mean it can handle no more.

Ahh ya fuse mod.. that is why ya cooked the 4-1s. I burned about 7 fuses on the main for my cp2. $6 worth of fuse has saved me from buying several 4-1s..
