LiPoly chargre to voltage / do not top off if above
Astro Flight 109 and other chargers can jump to the wrong cell count (higher) if you charge a mostly fully(?) charged LiPoly battery.
There is no logical reason to charge(top off) a LiPoly if the cells are at or above approx. 4.15V ea.
Note: A LiPoly cell at 4.15 is considered 95% charged. Many charger result in a full(?) charge of 4.1 - 4.17 volts per cell. There some chargers which charge to 4.2 per cell at the termination point ,however if you chaeck the voltage 20 min. later it will most likely be in the 4.15-4.17 range.
If you battery provides a 10 min. (600 sec.) flight when charged to 4.2 the 4.15 (95%) will provide approx. 9.5 min. ( 570 seconds) of flight.
