James - I just checked on my order status and it still says in process. Is everything ok. did it ship out? or are you waiting on something. No worries, just curious.
I will blame Jeff for it anyway.

It would save you time to build two at a time.

I was amazed at how easy Ultra Cote was to use. I have always had good results with Monocote except for wing tips and compound curves.

I spent more time than necessary removing some wrinkles in the Ultracote on my SSX but it was my first time using it. It turned out that instead of to trying to remove wrinkles with the iron, after everything was adhered properly..a few seconds with the heat gun made everything drum tight....Same with the wingtips.

The only thing that is difficult when covering now is that if you dont have a jig or an extra set of hands available it can be hard to get the precut panels tacked down in place without them slipping or sticking with static while you try. Somebody to hold a piece in position while you tack it makes everthing so much easiier.

I bet the new kit will be very nice to build. The only problem I had on the other was that I cut the "tabs off of the trailing edge crutch before I had it sanded enough...Once I did that there was no way to hold the crutch while I finished sanding and I had to divide it into pieces.. I wound up basically sanding each piece that fit between the ribs and then gluing the on seperatly....I only did that to one side though

That wont be a potential issue with the new kits..No trailing edge crutch. It shouldnt have been a problem on my kit, I just didnt understand how it was supposed to be installed

The kit looks like a fun build to me.

The sun was out, so I snapped a few shots. You really can't tell how bad the tips are wrinkled!

EZ Connectors just arrived, so I'll get them installed shortly.

Is that a metal fuselage? Where do people get these? I had one that had a misfortune and can only find the GWS type of fuselage.

Much prefer the rigidity of the metal over the stock.
