Dito! ulracote (Oracover) is the best. Monokote is good for heavy models, but is too heavy and shrinks at too high a heat for light models. Solite is nice but it is too flimsy.

I have had good luck with SIG AeroKote Lite.

Low temp covering, shrinks nice, seems fairly strong. and light.

I used Coverite Microlite on my 1st SSX. It was OK, but I didn't really like it. When I built the micro 3dx, I used Ultracote light, and that went on much smoother and was way easier to use.
That is what I will use from now on on the smaller stuff...

I use MonoKote on my SSX. It was a b**ch. Tough as nails, though. The guy who coached my cover job said Ultracote is the easiest to work with.

I used MonoKote on an SSX once. It was tough as nails. The weight was not too bad. my biggest complaint was that it was dificuly to form the wing tip. Monokote just dose not form curves like Ultracote or Ultracote lite.

Ultracote is supposed to be selling a new ParkLite brand with more color choices soon.

I would like to try to the Parklite but I can't wait. Oh, I forgot to mention this will be my first covering job. Wish me luck.

Thanks for all the replies regarding the covering. You all are awesome!

I am out of black decals, I have red, yellow, blue and white. I will have black in a few days. Do you want to wait for black?
