That is awesome! You're getting really good at those 4 pt tic tocks.

I liked how it just shot across the screen at 2:40.

yeah, that really shows you the power, on a more than half used pack. that was a DN 3cell 20c pack also. wonder if i put a tpx in there.

YES, it is the brand spanking "new" NEU 1107H 1.5Y 3850KV with a 11t pinion....By far the most power I've ever put in a heli this size..what's even more amazing then the low temps is the fact that a "cheap" lipo can still be used and get results...you pat more for the motor but you can recover the cost if you use decent 20C lipo's as you can see in the vid. Jason posted the DN Power 20C's are all you need. when I FDR'ed this motor the max amps pulled was 30A, so you don't need crazy electronics to run it. It for some reason can keep the RPM's up even under 3D load....all of my minis are getting this motor...

GW

BTW: You can get either 2.3mm or 3.2mm shafts so you can drop down to lower tooth counts if you don't want 3K onthe head. the KV limits the 3.2mm shaft to 10t min. with 2.3 you can go to 8 or 9 tooth.

Hi Gene, nice to meet you and your boy today.
What do you think of the 2Y 3300 kv. Seems to like you could tame it down a bit more
well keeping it a 3.2mm shaft. Also I don't think I would need the insane head speed on
my Dragonus.
I guess I answered myself.

otherwise the specs. are the same as the 1107/1.5y

I could be wrong tho'

EDIT
OK I'm wrong lol
Thanks for the link
The 1107H/1.5 has stronger magnets to get the Kv down --the regular 1107/1.5 has a Kv over 4000.

Steve... thank Carol for getting this motor to me so quick...BTW it's freaking awsome. I want two more..be looking for an order from me. You need to do the same motor design for the T600 so I can have twins.

I may be a freak, but if it helps people in this forum that's even better....Puts a smile on my face

I still have a few tests to run with the JGF motors so I have to hold back a little until I get those tested..you never know I might just find something that trumps the NEU...

Steve,
This motor is now on many of our wish lists. Could you please explain the intended applications for the 1107/2YH, Kv of 3300 RPM/volt and 1107/1.5YH, Kv of 3850 RPM/volt ?

Thanks!

IMO
1.5Y - made for 3S lipos and 10 - 12t pinion, high headspeed applications I've got it to go as high as 42A with the 12t pinion and 3200 on the head

2Y - can be run on either 3S or 4S and like the motor above will produce very good power with greater eff.

IMO - 1.5Y is an all out 3D monster house and if that's where you want to be this is th motor for you. 2Y can be mild or wild and is IMO a very good "All around" motor just depends on your needs.
