Just bought a used Windex glider, Looking for more info on it (CG...)

I saw this model hanging from the cieling of my LHS and I fell in love with the design and had to have it. 8ft (96") winspan, plenty of room in the fuse (for a videocamera, maybe) and what looks like a very aerodynamic fuse profile.

It appears that the model was brought over from the UK by the current hobby shop owner, a long long time ago. Not sure who makes the model, or where the CG is supposed to be.

Anyone out there have any experience with this model?

I found some other windex glider models when doing a search here, but those all seemed to be T-tails, this one has the elevator in the center of the rudder.

got a little more info. I just found the manufacturer's name "molded" into the right side of the rudder:

Teltech and H.A.M. model

a quick Google search didn't find anything.

Here are some pictures from the frist flight of the Windex

I put in a Brushless motor and A 8x6 prop, with a 3S 4000mA (that I use for other planes too) I did not get to the bottom of my batterie and made flights for more then 45 minutes !
Great plane !

Good flights,

I haven't tried any flights that long, but it is a nice plane. I don't have a wheel on mine but it has enough power to skid on the grass runway and takeoff without one.

Beerke,
Do you have any close up pictures of yours, I like the red strips on yours. It's allways good to be able to see the plane way up in the sky.

Speed-E...What brand of ESC and reciever are you using???

Seriously though, that looks like it's easy to see which side is up.

Here's what I did to mine, just a little color.
It's got a Rimfire 35-30-1450kv, a 9*6 prop, a CC35 ESC and I use a 4800mah 3S pack.

how are you guys holding the wings on the fuse?
I'm just using tape, but I think it has hooks for a rubber band or something.

Just tape is fine. Use that on all my moulded gliders. Closes the gap completely.
