Red Tail Hawk, full-scale sloper!

I canít believe Iím selling my labor of love, a scratch-built model of a red tail hawk. This model was designed with the help of a good friend. It flies wonderfully and looks spectacularly realistic in the air. It tracks well, turns easily and has no bad habits. Loops, rolls, inverted flight are no problem. This bird flew on Midwest slopes in 10-15 mph wind.

Here are some specifics:

56 inch span
MH-32 airfoil
19 ounces ready to fly
HS-55 elevator servo
CS-20 aileron servos
300 mah battery

Construction is EPP with a carbon wing spar. Strapping tape where needed for strength. Finished with spackle, 3M-77 and Ultracote for covering. The trailing edge is 1/64th ply; balsa tail. Graphic artwork was done with marker and protected with clear matte spray. Eyes are authentic female red tail hawk reproductions for taxidermy use. Yaw stability is achieved with canted clear plastic tiplets (visible in photo?). No vertical fin to clutter the looks. Add your receiver and fly. Plans are included with the bird. Also available separately.

Better late than never..... Next in line if the many others in front of me fall off the map.

I was just up with a few Turkey Vulchers and I would have loved to see their reaction to this bird. Great job on the build.

Sending PM just in case! :-)
