Cool. I thought for sure you had seen that page since the first plane on the next page was the pic you posted in your thread. I'm glad I could help.

I was the one who posted that scheme in this thread, and I did get it from the Wings Palette site. I love that place!

This is the colour scheme I plan to use but I have no details of the camouflage pattern on the inner starboard wing. Does anyone have information about this detail?

Ken,

Looks similar to a Bf-109 pattern, and it looks inverse both in pattern and color from the port wing.

The scheme is definitely a 190. The colors look a little different, but here is the plane. Here is the unit. There is no pilot listed.

Ken, The aircraft you depict is the one used by Tamiya in their 1/48 190 A-3 model. Unfortunately although they give unit details for the other two decal sets in the kit they don't seem to for this one but you may be able to research it if you don't already know

I borrowed this pic from www.aircraftresourcecenter.com. All the pictures of this particular kit show the same camouflage markings so I speculate there may be marking guidance in the kit - which also makes me think the one I've shown is a pretty accurate representation.

If you want to see others go to the site above, select "gallery" then "propeller" then "FW 190" - hope this helps

Roger

The area of the inner starbourd wing, roughly bounded by the white broken lines, is what I wanted a photo of.

Thanks mate

Yes, please do! And also let us know the details of your retract install.

Put the retracts in with the wings still seperated , dremelled an area around the normal landing gear area to allow for some ply to be fitted to screw the retracts into and then dremmelled an area for the wheels to locate into and drilled holes through the wing to run plastic tube and the wires inside. Then glued the wins together and installed the servo. Many thank to Neil for his expertise behind a dremmel wheel. Now I just hope there stong enough for this plane. I hope these files have attached

Looks good, but if those are the little GWS retracts, they will quickly break unless you are a very good pilot... They need some ".10" sized retracts..
I regularly broke those on smaller planes (though I'm not a very good pilot)
