The PZ cowl looks promising, it even has an 'optical coolerfan'.
It seems a bit short in the pictures related to the GWS FW190 cowl. But maybe that is just the angle on the pictures.

Stacker,

I think the container is on the boat right now. Should be into GWS USA by the end of the month, then out to the distributors. Should be on LHS shelves this time next month. I hope. I did not EB this one, but I still want it.

Better yet, the Alfa D9 is about out

When the boat comes in, I'll get a couple GWS 190's, then make some scale details for it.. should be a fun one...

Got it!

Oh boy oh boy, i received my FW190 today and i'm very impressed about the plane. It's done very good and it looks great. Everytime i buy a GWS plane they do their job even better than the last time. Congratulations!!! Now i'm thinking about the paint scheme. I just don't know which i should make.....there are so many beautiful schemes....

But i'm sure about the power-setup:

AXI 2808/20
Castle Creations 25A ESC
and a 3-blade-prop....Varioprop? they are very scale and adjustable in pitch, could be a nice option....we'll see.

A friendly hello from Switzerland

Hi Reto,

You'd be the first pilot of this great warbird in Switzerland !
Photos and words on it would be appreciated.

Hello GWS Chen

Really the first one? I think the GWS-Switzerland Reseller will build a FW190 too....a friendly "Hoi Sven" ( that's swissgerman )to him.

I think i'm sure about the schem i want to make for this warbird. see attachement's. At the home travel in the train i made some notices about colors and and the proceeding in painting. I just can't wait for the painting. I had a lot of fun too painting the ME262 from GWS. And now a FW190....oh man that's just great!!!

Does anybody know who has flown this bird in ww2 (see attachement)? I would like to have some good informatins about this plane.

Thanx to all who help me to get some good informations.

It was flown by Oberleutnant Siegfried Schnell with the 9./JG 2 'Richthofen' Unit.

Here's a little more about it. It's the second from the bottom. There's two planes with the same serial. The paint scheme is a little different, but I'll bet they're the same plane.

Yes, I believe so. Sven is buying a lot of FW-190 by now, while yours is on your bench.
