Ambient temps were 76F during tests.
The same pack was used for each flight. Both motors were tested on the stock 170T gear.
1910/1Y - 13T - 82% = 2200+-
1512/2y/F - 10T - 78% = 2200+-
The 1512 felt like it was delivering just a bit more power. That power was at a price. If you look at the graphs closely you will see the voltage on the pack dropped much lower on the 1512 than the 1910. I believe this is due to the high temps and rise in resistance.
The 1910 gives you great power, its price is lower than the 1512. I see NO reason NOT to run this motor at this time. We have about 70-80 flights on it between Kong and myself, its running in the 130F's to 160F's.
The 1512 has more power to offer, you definitely do not want to stay on the power as long and hard as we did today. I believe we pushed this motor to its limits. 200F after the flight. I have been seeing numbers in the 180F's flying it The 1512 was harder to bog, you could definitely hear the difference.
The new case design being worked on should help with cooling on both the 19xx and the 15xx series.
Oh, and the Jazz, its still going after those 107A spikes.
