New LRF from Silverlit!

http://89.149.220.129/ItemInfo?itemId=47022090

Due april 30 th!

The PalmZ looks (and sounds) very similar to the Aero Soarer, probably some license deal with TOMY. The gearbox and propeller looks identical.
The great news is, this one comes with a lipo rather than the capacitator found in the Aero Soarer.

Vids:

Edit: quick translation:

An indoor flyer for really small spaces. 1 motor with rudder with magnetic servo [sic]. Wicked!

An IR plane that flies wickedly well in the office or in your living room.
Very simple to control. Low speed and tight turns makes it easy to fly.

Specs:
Battery 3.7V Li-Po
Fly/charge 5 min
AUW <10g
Charger built-in in radio [sic]
Lenght 160 mm
Receiver 2-channel Triband
Radio[sic] 2-channel proportional gas
Span 190 mm

I'm sure that it has potential, but it looks like it is in permanent stall..or is that 3d?

There is NO such thing as 3d LRF (living room flyer)_ This is 2ch left / right , throttle.

Still It has LIPO POWA' !! I'm so glad I havn't got an AeroSoarer yet. Now I won't need to get a lipo and 10-20mah charger._

I've preordered 2
Price is same as an X-twin
Delivery estimated to be early May (this is in Sweden)

Badwrench Re: multiple AS in the air, yes I've done that with a grand total of 2, band A and band B. No interference.
But with the new PalmZ a total of 5 little planes could be vying for airspace, a flying circus in your living room!

Hmm, what's this plane called? It surely is similar to an AS, but different:

AS auw: 3.5gm
This plane: 10gm
AS power supply: capacitor
This plane, Lipo
AS mono, this plane bipe
Length and wingspan are the same, though

It's called PalmZ (edited OP to show this).

The AUW vs flight time doesn't click- if it really is close to 10g, what makes up all that extra weight?
Airframe, assuming it's EPP in generous amounts: ca 2.5g
Rx-Motor-GB-Prop-Act: ca 2g
Lipo: could be anything from 0.79g/20mA -> 3.5g/130mA..
Not that there's room for a big lipo.
But with a 130mAh cell we'd see flight times closer to 60 mins..

The weight is indicated as less than 10 g, I think (hope) it is significantly less. Can't imagine they put anything bigger than 30mAh in there.

I can give you some more on the Palm Z and some other sliverlit stuff.

Flight time is 4-5 minutes.

and it will have three channels.

It says pre-order for late june delivery. Anyhow, trend times = price fraud. They advertise a ridiculously high MSRP and discount that by %40 - %50. So you think you are getting a deal, but the resulting price is still considerably high compared to *normal* retail pricing. Such practices are actually unlawful (where I live anyhow), but seldom is anything done about it.
