Need help with Eclipse 7 programming - Acro/Glid and Thottle/Ailerons
I'd like to use GLIDER setting for an electric powered 2M electric sailplane BUT don't like the way the throttle is only ON or OFF in the GLIDER MODE.
So I'm thinking about ACRO mode and having challenges figuring out how to get aileron's setup with differential.
I'm posting this in both the Hitec Vendor area and sailplane forums.
You should be able to easily get differntial from ACRO mode. Read the manual, page 26
The Flaperon mixing function uses two servos to
individually control two ailerons, combining the aileron
function with the flap function. Both ailerons can be
raised and lowered simultaneously for a flap effect. Of
course, aileron function, where the two controls move in
different directions, is also performed. The down travel of
the left and right ailerons can be adjusted, so you can
also get a differential effect. (Left and right flap travel are
adjusted individually in the EPA menu.)
To take advantage of the flaperon mixing function, you'll
need to connect the right aileron servo to CH1 (AIL) and
the left aileron servo to CH6 (FLP).
This is required reading for Eclipse 7 owners and full-house sailplanes (see the Post #8 and the users guide attachment from Target):
