Hi Joe, I love my EG and BAT, but the Toronto slope is just too flat for my Moth60. I have a DuoDiscus and HalfPipe on the bench.

I am planning a visit to my friend at Spring Grove nexy summer, may I join you at the slope then? What time of year are the best for sloping there?

The best season is just about to start. We usually have plenty of wind in fall and winter, but this summer has been pretty good, too... Sure, you are welcome to fly at the slope...

I fly by wire
Nice vids joedoe! I think I know where you're at...I'll have to take the trex down sometime for a little low-power flying. I just read an article about it in rc heli. Sounds like fun.

There seems to be a ton of RCers in this area. Just wish there was a trex dealer a little closer than Harrisburg - East Shore.

Great vids. The DG-1000 looks terrific, and you have a neat location there too.

Joe, how do you keep warm and keep your finger from frost-bite?

I certainly dress in layers. However, our slope is very steep, I would say close to 80 degrees at least. Therefore, we only feel very little wind where we stand (no wind chill), because the wind is blowing right over our heads. See the video 'High Wind Slopin' in this thread under post #36 at 12 seconds, 23 seconds, and 6:35minutes.
