A peek at Mountain Models newest toy

It's the MiniFlash (No naming threads!!!). It's a scaled down Flashback but with a big thick wing. Wing span is 32", chord is almost 10, and wing loading is 7 oz/sq ft. It's powered by a GWS EPS300.

I'm not the type of person to laugh out loud much but while flying it tonight, I couldn't stop laughing. This thing is too much fun!

Very're one busy guy. Building a Corona, and now this? Somebody needs a vacation! Just what I've been looking for, a smaller, cheaper E3D.

Great looking plane Doug!! I'll bet it really floats. How's the roll rate? One or two servos for the ailerons. Definately looks like one to get. Can't see where you get the time and energy, just don't burn yourself out! We need those new planes! Best of luck on the beta testing.

Very nice! Will that replace the switchback or just be an alternative to it?

It won't replace the SB. It's a different bird.

I forgot to time the motor so it wasn't hovering when I was flying it earlier this evening.. I just did time the motor and it's pulling straight out of my hands.

Correct me if I am wrong... but it had a GWS EPS300 with the "D" gearing.
