He got the colors right. I like the box schemes. Most all of my Guillows, including my Cessna 150 are done in the box scheme. I was wondering what brand/s of covering he used to get the colors too.

I use tailwheel mounts for my micro steerable nose strut mounts.

Zim,
you should send a pic to Guillow's.
That should easily get model of the month!
It looks flawless to me. I'm still bewildered how you got such a fine finish.

Ditto Phil. That is one of the nicest Guillow's conversions I have ever seen. You deserve all of the compliments. Alex

If you don't mind, can you take some shots of the servo, receiver & Battery location and also advise your CG.

Thanks.

Yes it should, but they seem to pic the "pic of the month" out of a hat.
Not to sound arrogant, but I've sent in pics of better modeled planes, than the same plane that got pic of the month, like a month or 2 later.
95% of the time, there are much nicer planes in the small clips, below the one that got pic of the month. Lately, some cat's been submitting non-Guillows planes, and they feature them. He's submitted Guillows planes before, which actually makes it worse, in my opinion. Thinks he can use the Guillows picture web page to show all his stuff.

Theyv'e also been burned, by falling for photos of REAL AIRPLANES that were sent it. Yep, they posted them!

They're goofy over there.

Here are some pictures of my 40" Cessna 150. I have had this for about 4 years. It is a beatiful flying bird. This is modeled after the 24" plans form the Guillows Cessna 150 kit.

Bill, i have to agree, that's how it usually goes with competitions and things!

Tom, nice work on the scale up, 40'' is a good size.
I wish Guillow's would make the full range of light civilian aircraft Piper, Beechcraft ,twin, all in the 40'' size,
i would get them all!

Unfortunately Guillow's aren't known for listening to customers.
Shame really.
The biggest move by Guillow's in years was to laser cut a single series of kits.

Nice Cessna too Tom!
I did an upscaled Stuka to 40" - flies quite well too.

Phil, It seems Guillow's are selling enough kits? and don't need to expand there range.
