North American R/C Soaring Event Calendar
Hello all -
I've taken the liberty of creating a North American R/C Soaring Event Calendar using Google Calendar. I've attempted to compile a good number of the soaring events I have seen announced on the RCSE, RCGroups and the RCDSG into one big calendar. Here is the link: http://www.google.com/calendar/embed...dar.google.com Ugly, yes, but you may also find a link to it on our Louisville Area Soaring Society website: http://www.louisvillesoaring.org If you would like to help cultivate this calendar, send me a PM or email and I will add you to the list of people who may add/edit events on the calendar. Or, if you have an event to add, please let me know, and I will add it. Though wouldn't it be great if *you* could add it and edit it, too? ![]() Thanks! |

Updated!
I've updated it to include all of the ESL Contests, and made a few updates otherwise.
FYI - You can also get this calendar in a number of formats, aside from using it through Google's Calendar app: XML: http://www.google.com/calendar/feeds...m/public/basic ICAL: http://www.google.com/calendar/ical/...blic/basic.ics HTML: http://www.google.com/calendar/embed...dar.google.com |

Updates!
I've added all of the Soaring League of North Texas (SLNT) dates for the year (excluding the monthly handlaunch contests).
Also, I've got instructions on how to embed this calendar on your own club's website, here: http://louisvillesoaring.org/calendar/ |

Can you add the JR Aerotow June 20-24th to it?

Folks, if you want to know how to get there (Hodges Hobbies and the flying field near Andersonville, GA) then use a GPS device (Garmin, Magellan, Earthlink, Delorme, etc.), Mapquest (www.mapquest.com to map it) or Google Earth (www.earth.google.com to download). Just go to, and stand at, these coordinates:
32 degrees, 07 minutes, 24.86 seconds North 84 degrees, 07 minutes, 47.35 seconds West But don't stand there very long! You better DUCK AND RUN -- because you're standing right smack dab in the middle of the flying field at Hodges Hobbies! Otherwise, have fun while there! David |
