This from the Astrofliht site on 3s

Prop Rpm Thrust Volts Amps Watts
EP 6030 GWS 14,400 rpm 11.0 oz 11.1 volts 6.9 amps 77 watts
6 X 4 APCE 12,800 rpm 10.9 oz 11.1 volts 10.4 amps 114 watts
EP 7035 GWS 12,700 rpm 14.2 oz 11.1 volts 10.6 amps 112 watts

Bob also states 7.5 amps max and sells the package with a 10 amp esc.
I normally use apc speed 400 pylon props 4-5" for DD and put it in a gearbox if I need to turn larger props.
Good idea to test with a wattmeter

Thanks John; that’s what got from his site too.

With TB18 they pull about 7 on GWS1300-2S, 11 amps w/either TP2100-3S or TP1350-3S – both @ storage level.

Not sure if 2S is quite enough; so I was soliciting experience of others.

One data point I saw was on 10x650NiMh with Dymond 6x4 folder trimmed to 5.5x4; same dims as the MAS prop that came with the motor – but blade shape?

AF 010 with 6x3 prop

This set up is a little too hot for 3s lipos. I would not run this motor with 3s unless it was with a gearbox. I have 4 of these motors and I run them on 2s
600ma cells with the supplied 5.5x4 black MAS prop that astro recomends. I have 2 motors installed in a twin little stick that I run with a 1350 tp 2s pack.

Guess I’ll fly on 2S, and trim to less amps if I see the need for 3S.

I would..I tried the 6x3 folder on a permax 480 pulling 16A..it flew off in flight several times and finally shed a blade

Now I use that prop only on a 7.2v speed 400 on 3s LIPO..a nice tired pack that has enough go, but not too much...about 9V/8A..

If you want more an APC 6x4 is probably a better bet.
