Newbi flying/hovering question

I have the lama V3 ,when hovering and changing direction, the heli seems to loose altitude,I realize 1 blade turns slower to achieve the direction commamd, but sometimes the heli bounces off the floor.

Is this

A) Pilot error
B) battery issue (I got for xmas 12 charges properly done)
C) helicopter issue (is this how co co work)

I can get a good hover but if I increas throttle ,then decrease throttle it seems to move way more than the input.I think I will try the throttle mod that eliminate the clicks, but maintains the pressure on the stick. Is this typical.I am still flying only 2 to 3 feet off the floor.

It is normal for multi rotor heli to lose or gain altitude when changing direction. As it will reduce and gain speed on either pair of blade.
