diy brushless outrunner/LRK meet & E-fly-in, Sept. 2nd, Nijmegen, the Netherlands

Hi all,

On September 2nd., together with our annual international E-fly-in, the RMVC Cumulus flying club will conduct an international LRK-meeting in Nijmegen/Winssen,The Netherlands.

To refresh your memories on diy brushless outrunners, two German sites on these LRK/Torquemax motors:
http://members.aol.com/TorquemaxLRK/
http://members.aol.com/schwaabbel/
Use http://www.altavista.com/ -> tools -> translate for translation, and have a good laugh too, translations are bit 'Genglish' :-)

The german E-forum on www.rconline.net had/has a lively discussion on DIY brushless outrunners. Most notably outcome: gut your harddisk, CD-ROM drive or PC cooling fan for stator/armature (whatever you wan't to call the thingy) material.

Manufacturers/shops on site at E-fly-in:
Batt-mann
batteries, chargers, ESC, magnets, connectors, power supplies
JePe Fiber-Atelier
P51, F16, A10, F-4 Phantom, Spitfire
rbckits
Harvard, Bristol Beaufighter, A4 Skyhawk, Supermarine Spitfire, F9F Panther, Chance Vought Cutlass
Gleisner
Big E-gliders, Nimbus 4D and ASH26, wingspan 6 resp. 5 meters.
