lost foam method

I`m looking to use the lost foam method to make a fus , this will be my first attempt at this , is it totally neccessary to use carbon for the layup or is glass clothe ok , i`ve seen a couple of thread showing the basics and am wondering if anyone can give me a couple of tips or things to look out for when doing it, many thanks

i have used it for fiberglass with great results.

as far as tips go. do not use polyester resin with foam for it will melt all exposed serfaces. try to get the tape as wrinkle free as posible.

I've made more than a dozen pod and boom fuselages from 2-meter span to 15' span.

Please, give us the dimesions. Length. Maximum diameter. What kind of wing mounting? What kind of tail mounting? Desired weight and strength. What kind of plane; slope glider, thermal glider, electric, fuel powered, scale, etc.? Your design? A plan would be nice.
