Should it be doing that?
Yeah, I got a Casio 'Pathfinder'. $200 for doing that. Now that I have it, I don't want to 'loose it'. (Although I've never lost a plane before...as in, "can't find it")

I'll do it one day. It sure is cool though.
I'm currently at -40 ft below sea level, it's 87.4 degrees F on my wrist and the barometer is at 29.90 inHg and falling.

Weee.

william,

i bought an altimeter watch yesterday. avocet makes the vertec II.

has max alt, barometer, accumulated alt, vertical ascent/descent rates, stop watch, etc.

120-160$ depending on where you get it. a good outdoors/hiking store or bicycle shop should carry them.

i did a 1195ft climb out today with it.... man, was it small!
i noticed on the zagi record site that ill have to beat 1500ft for max alt.

that casio at wal mart sounds like a better deal, as long as it has a max altitude feature, it should work ok.

tax refund is paying for this watch.

email me if you need more info. email in my profile.

fwiw,

WOW, 1200ft up, with a zagi that had to be small. Another 300ft to beat the record ? think its possible ?

Best get some buddies out there to help as spotters, maybe even with a pair of binocs.

Already got my phone# on my zagi with a 20.00$ reward for all 'pieces' returned.

i think it is possible, but it seems i just couldnt go any higher, or at least i couldnt tell....it was really small, but my orange bottom against a clear blue sky helped out alot...

I have been using the Csaio altimeter watch in my SAM (old timers) for almos ten years. Had my 8 ft Westerner to over 3500 ft. with the watch but we often fly much higher (over 5000 ft). eut
