Could someone tell me the location(distance from the leading edge) of the front spar. I have checked the plans and it doesn't show the location and the thread doesn't mention it either.

Thanks
Scott

The Yardbird prototype is still flying... I motorized it and she draws some attention at the field when I do a rudder roll...

AJ,

Mine is going to have an egg Beeter on the front as well. Could you share your power setup?

Thanks,

Mega 22/30/3 Direct drive on 2200mah 3 cell lipo, 11-6 folding Cam prop. I'm at 60 oz. It cruises a little faster than it used to, but still a good thermaller.

I think it looks good, too. I did set up a LOT of throw in the V-tail, I like to play on the way down, Rolls, inverted circles, loops, and then take it back up.

It settles in slow on landing with the spoilers mixed to a little up elevator.

Hi Jack!

Been watchin yer log here. Hawk #2 is still flying. Since 2003, Can't believe it's been this long.

Yardbird Materials list

I have a short kit from Laser Arts but does anyone know if a list of other materials needed? I can see from the plans what is required for the stick stock but what about the sheet stock?
