Don't forget that this will be the first European Indoor Aerobatics Championship.

Which is the other international event you are referring to?

I set the dates for the 2012 event already in September last year:

https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...&postcount=130

Last year, the German Indoor Aerobatics Championship took place from 26.- 27. November and the EIM was a week later. This did not cause any problems either.

I'm not certain what format the EIM will take in 2012 with regards to being an FAI competition.

The F3P and AM elements will be under the wing of the GBCRAA which is a good positive move.

We will retain our fun elements also with Freestyle, team flights and combat or pylon racing still being a nice fun element for pilots and spectators.

first weekend of november, the dutch have an international competition.

but I have read your post wrong. You mean a real European championship ?

that's a good thing for indoor flying.

I start organising F3P competition In Belgium again, so I hope it will be popular over here again.
If there is a real european championship, maybe I will organise a contest before to have a selection contest for the belgian's candidates.

I see you friday in Paris, we talk more about it.

Jurgen,

no FAI logo on the flyer, not listed on the FAI calender,

all a bit confusing I must say calling a competition "European Championchip"

Last thing I have heard, that the Dutch Open 2012 was subject to change, but we may hear more about it this weekend.

With almost 60% of the pilots coming from other European countries in 2011, the German Indoor Aerobatics Championship organised by the DMFV has developed into something much more than a national contest, i.e. we are just giving the competition a more appropriate name.

The DMFV with 75.000 members is the biggest model flying association in Europe and it is about time to organize a European F3P event. It will be open to all European model pilots - not limited to FAI membership.

Jürgen

For comparison: The IJMC organizes World Championships for Jet Modelers without FAI membership either.

The numbers shown on the online registration screen are not always 100% up-to-date.

So far, there are 20 registrations for F3P-Expert and 7 registrations for F3P-Sport - 20 potential candidates for F3P AeroMusicals.

If you want to compete at the EIAC, it's time to act fast.

The maximum number of participants have been reached in both classes now:

30 pilots from 9 European countries have registered for F3P-Expert to qualify for the first F3P European Indoor Aerobatics Championship (EIAC).

15 pilots registered for the national F3P-Sport class.

Looking forward to an exciting event!

Jürgen
